Membership Information
Become a member of the USETDA and be a part of our nationwide community!
- We offer free associate-level as well as paid membership plans with perks.
- All members receive access to USETDA communications (private listserv, newsletters), professional and community resources, networking opportunities through conferences and workshops, and regional associations, and access to advanced up-to-date ETD information.
- Institutional and individual paid subscription plan members receive advanced access to all of the associate-level membership benefits plus they receive a considerable discount on conference registration (over non-member rates) to attend the annual conference as well as exclusive access to community resources.
- Your contributions help to sustain the operations of the USETDA, a non-profit organization that promotes our national collaborative community.

Member Resources
- Upgrade your subscription plan or update your account at any time by logging in at USETDA » Account and selecting the “Subscriptions” tab.
- Subscription renewal billing: You may choose to renew your annual membership subscription payments by automatic credit card charge or by automatic invoicing (an invoice will be sent by email). Renewals are billed annually at the time of expiration (one year terms). This may be changed at any time by logging in at USETDA » Account and selecting the “Subscriptions” tab.
- Institutional accounts: To add other individuals from your organization to your institutional account, login at USETDA » Account, then select the “Subscriptions” tab, then select “Sub Accounts” (bottom of last column on the right) to reveal your Signup URL. People from your organization signing up with this link will be automatically added to your institutional account. Be sure to complete all fields for each new sub-account added. Policies
USETDA policy requires that all members must be part of the ETD community, either by academic affiliation or with organizations that provide useful services and products which are helpful to community members. USETDA members are required to abide by our Code of Conduct and Privacy policies. Violations will result in loss of membership privileges.
USETDA is a public 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable and educational organization. Contributions to the USETDA are tax deductible for individuals and organizations.
